DPDP Readiness Check for Schools and Colleges
Forty questions on the DPDP Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules, 2025, with notes on what each one means for a school, college or university. Your score and top gaps update as you go. No sign-up needed to see your score. Takes about ten minutes.
What is different for schools, colleges and universities
- Most school students and some first-year college students are under 18, so the children's data rules in Section 9 apply.
- The Rules let educational institutions process children's data, and track them, without parental consent only for educational activities and student safety.
- Admissions, exams, hostels, transport, fees and LMS platforms each hold student and parent data, often with outside vendors.
